Entry Closing
Entries close on September 21st, 2007.

Late entries will be rejected.

All entries should be accompanied by player’s BWF number.
National Associations will be notified whether their players have been accepted directly into the Main Draw or if they are required to play in the Qualifying Rounds once entries are evaluated by BWF after the closing date.
RULES & REGULATIONS
The Championship will be run strictly in accordance with the Championship regulations of BWF.

No player shall be eligible to compete unless he/she is:

The Organiser reserves the right to decide on the numbers of entries admitted into the qualifying rounds.

Entry Fees: No entry fee is payable by any competitors nominated as entrants by their national associations.

Entry Form: All entries must be sent through or with a supporting letter from National Associations. Entries from Member Associations Should be sent on the enclosed form. Entries close 21st September 2007.

Seeding of players shall be done by BWF and draws will be conducted in accordance to the prevailing regulation of teh BWF.

Scoring System: Rally Point System = 3 * 21 Points.

Withdrawal: Notification of Withdrawal(s) with reason must be given immediately to the Tournament Secretary by fax or e-mail. Withdrawal(s) made after 16 October 2007 for whatsoever reasons shall be subjected to penalty payment as per the regulation of BWF for Super Series.

Drug Testing : Doping tests will be conducted during the Championship.

The referee of the Championship is Keite Hawthorne (UK). The deputy referee of the Championship is Ms. Isabelle JOBARD (FRA).
CLOTHING/ADVERTISING

Advertising an clothing and colour of clothing shall be in accordance with the prevailing regulation of the BWF for Super Series.

Please pay particular attention to the BWF Regulations which require players’ names to be on the back of their shirts and give the option of also having their country and/or advertising beneath the name. This Regulation also applies to the Qualifying Rounds. Please also note the BWF requirement that doubles partners must wear the same colours from the Quarter Finals onwards, and the recommendation that at the same time pairs wear different colours to their opponents. In particular you should be aware of the new BWF Competition Regulation 20.5 under which the player/pair placed lower in the draw will be required to change in the event that opposing player /pairs want to wear the same coloured clothing.

Advertising for Alcoholic beverage or tobacco’s company is forbidden by the French Law.

 

IMPORTANT MEETINGS
The Umpires' Briefing meeting will be held at Hotel Radisson (Boulogne Billancourt) Monday October 29th 2007 at 21.00hrs.
The Team managers meeting will be held at Hotel Radisson (Boulogne Billancourt) Monday October 29th 2007 at 20.00hrs.
PRACTICE COURTS
Courts will be available from Saturday 27th October. Please note that those courts are not at the Coubertin Stadium. Dedicated shuttle will be available from the Hotel and the Coubertin Stadium. Also, there will be no practice in the main Arena before Wednesday 31 October. Please send an advance indication of your requirements on the enclosed form. We cannot guarantee to meet all requests.
MEDIA OBLIGATIONS
All players must strictly adhere to the request of Organisers to attend all marketing, publicity and promotional activities related to the event as per the BWF regulation for Super Series.

Check In: To avoid the lenghty hotel procedure team managers can fax France Sport a list of their squad in advance showing the romming list. This must include full name, passport number and date of birth of every member of their party.

Payment for Hotel Accomodation: The reservation will be confirmed at the reception of a deposit corresponding to 30% of teh total amount. You have the possibility to modify the number of participants or the duration of the stay until September 15th without any penalties. From September 15th to October 15th, 50% of teh cancellation will be due; and from October 15th to teh arrival date, 100% of teh cancellation will be due. the pay of the invoice, on the basis of the infomation mentioned, will be due to France Sport at the latest on October 20th 2007.

Cancellation conditions during the competition:For any person, who would leave the hotel before the date initially planned, 1 additional night will be due if the number of cancelled night is inferior or equal to 3 nights. In the case of cancellation superiri to 3 nights, 2nights will be due.
