The championship schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the Referee and
HKBA
Players must be ready to play 30 minutes before their scheduled time
Any players not ready to play at their scheduled time will be disqualified

| PRIZE MONEY |
• US$250,000.00 (Level 2 - Super Series )
Distribution of prize money is in accordance with BWF Super Series Regulations.
Non-resident players will be taxed at the standard rate of tax on gross earning from prize
money.
- Trophies for all winners and medals for all runners-up.

Maximum number of Qualifying Rounds : 16 entries for each event
All entries must be submitted through their national associations with authorized
signature.
All entries must be made on the enclosed ‘Entry Form’. The completed ‘Entry Form’
must reach Hong Kong Badminton Association Limited by mail, fax or email as follows : |

Any ‘Entry Form’ without authorized signature or received after the closing date will be
automatically rejected.
Entries submitted by the respectively National Associations must be ranked for all events.
All entries should be accompanied by player’s BWF number if available

Entries close on October 25th, 2007.
Late entries will be rejected.
All entries should be accompanied by player’s BWF number.
National Associations will be notified whether their players have been accepted directly into the Main Draw or if they are required to play in the Qualifying Rounds once entries are evaluated by BWF after the closing date.

| RULES & REGULATIONS |
|
| The Championship will be run strictly in accordance with the Championship regulations of BWF. |
The Organizer will restrict entries into all the championships events and reserve the right
to have qualifying rounds in any event. The Organizer may also refuse entries in any
event without assigning any reason.
- Seedings and Draws will be conducted by BWF.
- Withdrawal
- Please ensure any withdrawal occurred, the Association should be notified in written
by fax 852-2882-8450 or email : hkba@hkolympic.org.
- Penalty for withdrawals is according to BWF under the ‘BWF Super Series
Regulations’ .
- If withdrawal arises after players arrive in Hong Kong, notification of withdrawal
must be made in person to the Referee.
- Alternation of competition schedule due to television coverage or unforeseen
circumstances my arise and will be announced by the Referee.
- Doping Testing will be conducted at random throughout the tournament.

| REFEREES |
|
The referee of the Championship is Mr Juniarto Suhandinata (INA).
The deputy referee of the Championship is Mr.K. T. Lim(TPE).

| CLOTHING/ADVERTISING |
The Referee will strictly apply in accordance with the prevailing regulation of BWF. |
|
| IMPORTANT MEETINGS |
| The team managers meeting will be held at Jockey Club Lecture Theatre, Olympic House, Causeway Bay Monday26 November 2007 at 12:00 noon |
|
| PRACTICE COURTS |
Practice courts will be available from 24 November 2007. The HKBA will prepare an
overall equitable practice schedule, taking into consideration of the size of each team. |
|
| FLIGHT DETAILS |
Transportation will be provided between airport and official hotels upon requested by
filling in Form 3.
- The form must be sent to HKBA no later than 15 November 2007, otherwise
transportation may not be provided. If insufficient time is given or not between the
airport and official hotels, transportation has to be arranged for their own.
It is suggested the teams to take non-stop train rather than by flight to Guangzhou or return
back to Hong Kong. It takes about 2 hours for traveling and the price is cheaper than taking
a flight.

| VISA |
All players and officials require visas to enter Hong Kong, please inform the Hong Kong
Badminton Association Limited of the full list of players and officials with passport details by
National Association at least 5 weeks in advance. An invitation letter will be issued for visa
application.

| ACCOMMODATION |

The Charterhouse (3 Star) HK$700.00 per night (approx. US$90.00)
- Room charge inclusive of buffet breakfast, 10% service charge and 3% Government Tax.
- From 25 November to 2 December 2007 only.
- The room charges and related expense should be settled directly to the hotel.
- The rooms of each hotel is subject to availability and on a first-come-first served
basis.
- Reservation should be made by completed Form 2 and return to the Hong Kong
Badminton Association Limited no later than 25 October 2007.
- Any reservation received after the above closing date we cannot guarantee the special
rates and availability.
