The Championship will be run strictly in accordance with the Championship regulations of BWF.
- No player shall be eligible to compete unless he / she is :-
- Under the jurisdiction of a Member Association of the Federation
- Has been declared in good standing with that Member Association
- The Organiser reserves the right to decide on the numbers of entries admitted into the qualifying rounds.
- Seeding of players shall be done by BWF and Draws will be conducted in accordance to the
prevailing regulation of the BWF
- Alteration of the competition schedule due to television coverage or unforeseen circumstances
may arise and will be announced by the Referee.
Scoring System- The scoring system shall be in accordance with the prevailing regulation of the BWF.
Withdrawal
- Notification of withdrawal(s) with reason must be given immediately to the Tournament
Secretary by fax or email. Withdrawal(s) made after 25 May 2008 for any reason shall be subjected to penalty payment as per the regulation of BWF for Super Series.
- Dope testing will be conducted during the Championship.
- Yonex (AS50) shuttlecocks will be used.
Clothing/Advertising:
- Advertising on clothing and colour of clothing shall be in accordance with the prevailing
regulations of the BWF for Super Series.

Press Interviews:
All Players must strictly adhere to the request of Organisers to attend all marketing, publicity and
promotional activities related to the event as per the BWF regulation for Super Series.

- Deputy Referees of the Championship is Mr. Ajith Wijayasinghe (Sri Lanka).
